2012 Alamos Malbec

Opaque black purple red colour with dark purple black hue. The nose offers up aromas of black cherries, liquorice, earth, toasty cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has good richness with flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice followed by some toasty oak, a touch of earth and spice. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained soft tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of blackberry, toasty oak, liquorice and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
