2012 Ad Hoc Cruel Mistress Pinot Noir

A delicious and quite sumptuous Pinot that was rated as one of Matthew Jukes 100 Best Australian Wines for 2013/2014.
Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson red hue. The nose provides a scented sniff of dark ripe cherry, plum and strawberry with some underlying cedar and a touch of spice. Generously flavoured and possessing a soft round supple mouthfeel the palate is filled with ripe dark cherries, strawberry and dark ripe plums with some quite spicy cedar on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power wave with long spicy ripe dark cherry, strawberry and plum aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2013-2016)
