Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of blackberry, liquorice and vanillin cedar with some earthiness mixed in and pepper end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of spicy blackberries and dark chocolate over some vanillin cedar and earthy pepper characters. Robust yet fine grained tannin structure. Aftertaste of spicy blackberries, dark chocolate, vanillin cedar, earth and pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
