Totally opaque black dark red colour with very deep dark red black hue. The nose displays scents of ripe blackcurrant, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has generous flavours of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, some subtle cedar and a spicy back palate. Dryish slightly chalky tannins but balanced. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, liquorice and spice.
