2011 Vavasour Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with crimson red hue. The nose displays good aromatic lift with scents of ripe dark cherries and dark plums prevalent over some meaty characters and spicy cedar. Fruity and very generously flavoured the palate possesses ripe dark cherries followed by some meaty characters, toasty oak and a spicy back palate. Very fine grained tannins. Good power wave with long dark ripe cherry, dried meats and spicy toasty oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
