2011 Valle Secreto Private Edition Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon Carmenere

A blend of 55% Syrah, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Carmenere that has been matured for 18 months new French oak.
Totally opaque black dark crimson core with deep dark crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and black cherry are overlaid by some spicy tobacco like characters with some subtle earthy cedar end notes. Full bodied ripe blackcurrant and blackberry flavours dominate followed by a touch of liquorice with some cedary tobacco like characters on the back palate along with some spice overtones. Beautifully integrated very fine grained velvet like tannins. Superb depth with long blackberry, blackcurrant, cedary tobacco and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years (2019-2020).
