2011 Tscharke The Potter Garnacha

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose is quite spicy with spicy dark raspberry top notes followed by some dark cherry, liquorice and earth. Light to medium weight the palate possesses generous dark raspberry flavours followed by a touch of liquorice, confectionary and a spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannin structure. Long spicy dark raspberry, liquorice and earth aftertaste. Reflective of the cooler vintage conditions this is quite elegant for a Damien Tscharke Grenache.
Cellar 3-4 years.
