2011 Te Kairanga Runholder Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark crimson red colour with crimson red hue. The nose displays scents of ripe dark cherries, some strawberries and plum followed by some cedar and spice. Light to medium weight and showing good power the palate possesses generous flavours of ripe dark cherries and plum followed by some cedary earth like characters and a spicy back palate. Dryish finish with very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long ripe dark cherry, toasty cedar and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
