2011 Swinney Ingenue Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. Nosing offers up scents of blackberry, some inky liquorice, smoky oak and dried meats with blackpepper end notes. Full bodied with plenty of inky blackberry and liquorice fruits, the palates richness is amply supported by a sturdy, slightly dryish tannin structure. Flavours of smoky oak, dried meats and cracked pepper make an appearance on the back palate. Excellent depth with long inky blackberry, liquorice, dried meats and blackpepper aftertaste.
