2011 Stanton & Killeen Shiraz Durif

Deep dark red colour with dark crimson red hue lacking the dense colour saturation the region is renowned for in its big reds. Aromas of dark cherries and plums are followed by some toasty earth like characters. Very light, thin and simple the palate has flavours of cherries, some raspberries and spice. Soft fine grained tannins with short aftertaste of cherries, earth and spice. A light dry red without any character.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
