2011 Schild Estate Wines Barossa Shiraz

Deep dark red black colour with dark red hue. On the nose ripe dark plum scents are intermixed with some liquorice and black cherries followed by some spice end notes. The palate possesses good weight and richness with sweet dark plum and liquorice flavours followed by some vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with medium to long sweet ripe dark plum, liquorice, chocolately vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
