2011 Rymill SBS Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

A portion of this wine was partially fermented in barrel and then spent eight months in oak with regular lees stirring. Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. Lifted grassy citrus top notes followed by some herbaceous gooseberry and a touch of asparagus. Herbaceous grassy palate flavours are followed by some citrus and asparagus like flavours. Good mouthfeel with clean dry finish. Aftertaste of herbaceous grassy characters, citrus and asparagus.
