2011 Philippe Bouzereau Chateau de Citeaux Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with dark red hue. Fragrant aromas of dark cherry and ripe plum are overlaid with some toasty cedar, dried meats and spice showing good intensity. Upfront the palate is quite fruity and new world like with generous ripe dark cherry flavours finishing dry with some earthy cedar, dried meats and spice. Slightly chalky tannins but well integrated with aftertaste of dark cherries, earth, cedar and spice.
