2011 Pegasus Bay Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe dark cherries and anise are followed by some cedar and meaty characters with spicy end notes. Light to medium weight rich, generous flavours of dark cherries and dark plum are intermixed with anise over a back palate of cedar finishing very spicy. Excellent power wave. Well integrated very fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, anise and light toasty cedar. A rich mouthfilling Pinot.
