2011 Pedestal Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

A blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Semillon. Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and watery hue. Some grassy herbaceous notes overlay passionfruit and green apple aromas on the nose followed by some citrus end notes. The palate has good mouthfeel with flavours of gooseberry, some subtle passionfruit, herbaceous grassy characters and citrus. Clean crisp dry finish with aftertaste of passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberry and citrus.
