2011 Palliser Estate Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Nosing reveals a perfumed aromatic profile of dark cherries and ripe strawberries followed by some incense and spicy lightly toasted cedar. Light to medium weight the palate is rich, yet fresh possessing an excellent power wave. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe dark cherries, strawberries and plums over some dried meats and spicy cedar. Soft supple mouthfeel and velvety tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, plums, meaty characters and cedar.
