2011 Mr Riggs Montelpulciano

Opaque black purple colour with dark purple hue. On the nose aromas of ripe black cherries and liquorice are overlaid with some earthy smokiness followed by a touch of spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of ripe black cherries, plum, earthy cedar and spice. Dry earthy tannins with aftertaste of black cherry, earth and spice.
Cellar 2-3 years.
