2011 Moss Wood Chardonnay

Moss Wood , ranks this as one of the best Chardonnay’s they have made with vintage conditions being absolutely perfect.
Brilliant straw colour with some greenish highlights around the edges and watery hue. The nose shows excellent intensity with an amalgam of aromas including white peach, nectarine, cashew, spicy oak, nougat and light toast. Full bodied and possessing a wonderfully creamy like mouthful the palate delivers a concentrated flavour profile of cashew, ripe white peach, nectarine, spicy toasted oak and nougat with a hint of butterscotch and cinnamon on the exceptionally powerful finish which is clean and dry. Long aftertaste of creamy cashew, white peach, spicy oak and subtle butterscotch.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2013-2018)
