2011 Mitchell Watervale Riesling

Produced from 50 year old Riesling vines, this wine displays a brilliant, very pale straw colour with greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. Zesty, lemon and lime aromas dominate the nose followed by some orange rind and flinty, mineral notes showing good intensity. The palate delivers concentrated flavours of lemon and lime followed by a touch of orange rind with a crisp, crunchy acid, flinty, mineral infused finish. Long aftertaste of lemon, lime and flinty, mineral.
Drink now or cellar 5-6 years (2012-2018)
