Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red black hue. Nosing offers up scents of dark mulberries, chocolately cedar, some subtle bay leaf and spice. Medium weight and elegantly structured with flavours of blackcurrant and dark mulberries followed by some cedar and spice. Dryish, slightly chalky tannins give the wine a somewhat tightly knit mouthfeel. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberries, cedar and spice.
