2011 Kilikanoon Killerman's Run Cabernet Sauvignon

This great value Cabernet was matured in new and older small French oak casks for two years. Opaque black crimson red colour with deep very dark crimson red hue. The nose exhibits scents of blackcurrant, dark mulberry and a hint of tobacco followed by some spicy cedar. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses generous flavours of blackcurrant and dark mulberry with an overlay of tobacco and some spicy cedar in the background. Velvet smooth tannins showing excellent integration with medium to long blackcurrant, mulberry, spicy tobacco and cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2015-2016).
