2011 John Duval Wines Plexus Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre

Matured for 15 months in French oak. Near opaque black dark red colour with dark crimson red purple hue. On the nose liquorice and dark plum aromas are overlaid by some toasty oak followed by some spice end notes. Medium weight the palate has flavours of liquorice and dark plum followed by some toasty oak, a hint of earth and a spicy finish. Very fine grained tannins combine with a supple mouthfeel. Aftertaste of liquorice, spice and toasty oak.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
