2011 Heggies Chardonnay

Aged for 12 months in French oak barriques. Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. Delicate white peach, cashew and citrus aromas are overlaid by some toasty oak with a hint of spice as an end note. Medium weight the palate delivers an elegant profile of white peach and cashew followed by some subtle toasty oak and spice. Clean dry finish with a moderately creamy texture. Good length with medium to long white peach, cashew and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
