2011 Gundog Estate Hunters Shiraz

Matured for 10 months in French oak. Opaque dark purple black colour with deep dark purple hue. The nose displays aromas of blackberry, some meaty characters, a whiff of liquorice and some blackpepper end notes. Medium weight at best the palate has flavours of blackberry, some meaty liquorice like characters and spice. It lacks depth and character. Fine grained soft tannins. Moderately concentrated with aftertaste of blackberry, meaty earth and spice.
