2011 Gibson Eden Valley Riesling

Brilliant very pale straw, almost water like colour with light greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. Zesty lime top notes on the nose are followed by some lemon, green apple and a trace of mineral. Very crisp and quite leanly structured the palate delivers flavours of freshly squeezed lemon, crunchy green apple and a touch of lime with a steely mineral infused acid backbone. Dry crisp acid finish. Aftertaste of lemon, green apple and steely mineral. A dry austere style of Riesling that requires cellaring.
Cellar 5-6 years (2017-2018).
Alc 12.0%
