The fruit for this wine was sourced from three sub regions of Margaret River, Yallingup, Wallcliffe and Wilyabrup. Soft extraction techniques and cooler than normal fermentation temperatures has resulted in a soft, fleshy style of Cabernet Sauvignon. Maturation took place in older French oak barrels for 12 months.
Opaque black crimson red colour with very deep crimson red purple hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe dark mulberry, cedar, some tobacco characters and a hint of spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is generously flavoured with blackcurrant, dark mulberry and some cedary tobacco like characters followed by some spice on the back palate. Dry finish with very fine grained well integrated tannins. Medium to long blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spice aftertaste.
