Produced from a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot with maturation taking place in French oak for 14 months. Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red black hue. The nose offers up scents of ripe mulberry, bay leaf, cedar and spice. Medium weight palate with fully ripened flavours of blackcurrant and mulberry supported by some bay leaf characters, cedar and spice. Dry slightly chalky tannins require further time to integrate. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spice.
