2011 Fattoria Zerbina Ceregio Sangiovese Superiore

Very deep dark red black tinged colour with dark red hue. Nosing reveals an aromatic profile of dark cherries over some earth, leather and spice. Light to medium weight with a soft generous texture that gives it a sense of savouriness the palate features flavours of ripe dark cherries, cedar, light earthiness and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Dry finish with medium to long aftertaste of dark cherries, some cedary earth like characters and spice. A soft savoury styled sangiovese that drinks very well now.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
