The Pichot family is one of the oldest in Vouvray with origins as viticulturists and restaurateurs going back to 1739. Their vineyard holdings are located mostly in the prime sites of Le Mont and Haut Lieu at the top of the village, with several other holdings scattered throughout the appellation. All harvesting is done by hand and yields are kept low at an average 25 hl/ha. All vineyards are now farmed organically, some bio-dynamically.

Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. The nose exhibits aromas of ripe pear and baked apple followed by some honeysuckle and quince. Showing good textural qualities the palate has flavours of Jonathan apple, some baked characters, ripe pear and quince. Clean dry finish with fresh acidity and aftertaste of Jonathan apple, pear, quince and light spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2017-2018).
Alc 12.0%
