Domaine de Nizas is located on the outskirts of the village of Nizas near Pézenas in the heart of the historic Languedoc region in the South of France. The Languedoc has been a winemaking region since the 5th century BC. In 1998, Domaine de Nizas was purchased and revitalized by American businessman John Goelet, who with Bernard Portet, founding winemaker of Clos Du Val in Napa Valley, identified the exceptional terroir of Pézenas as the ideal site to produce high-quality artisan wines.

A blend of 40% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre. Translucent salmon pink colour with watery salmon pink tinged hue. The nose displays aromas of raspberry and strawberry followed by some confectionary and a hint of spice. The palate delivers generous of ripe raspberry, strawberry and confectionary with a spicy back palate. Clean dry finish with long spicy raspberry and strawberry aftertaste.
