2011 Delas Saint-Esprit Cotes du Rhone

Produced from a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan. Deep dark red black tinged colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose exhibits lifted top notes of black raspberry and liquorice followed by some black cherry, meatiness and spice. Medium weight the palate possesses ripe succulent flavours of black raspberries and black cherries followed by some liquorice, meaty earth like characters and spice. Soft very fine grained tannins. Long black raspberry, black cherry, liquorice, dried meats and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
