2011 Cullen Cullen Vineyards "Sauvignon Blanc Semillon"

A blend of 69% Sauvignon Blanc and 31% Semillon. A portion of the wine (47%) was fermented in French oak of which 74% was new. Brilliant very pale straw, almost water like colour with watery hue. The nose displays a delicate aromatic profile of citrus, light tropical fruits, green apple and mineral. The palate possesses excellent acid structure with flavours of citrus, green apple and mineral followed by a dry crisp finish. Aftertaste of citrus, green apple and mineral.A leaner style of the blend with good cellaring capabilities.
Cellar 2-3 years (2014-2015).
