Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with dark crimson hue. On the nose aromas of ripe dark cherries and plum are present followed by a touch of anise and some spicy oak. The palate possesses good richness with juicy flavours of ripe dark cherries and plums followed by some toasty oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with medium to long ripe dark cherry, toasty oak and spice aftertaste.
