2011 Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with dark crimson red purple hue. Lifted aromas of dark cherry and perfectly ripened strawberries are intermixed with a touch of anise and some toasty cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate is packed with ripe dark cherries and plum followed by some meatiness, toasty cedar and a spicy back palate. Superb richness and very long power wave. Dryish finish with very fine grained beautifully integrated and balanced tannin structure. Very long ripe dark cherry, dried meats and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
