2011 Chapel Hill Il Vescovo Tempranillo

Excellent depth of colour with opaque black dark crimson red colour and dark red purple hue. Aromas of dark cherries, a touch of liquorice, some light earthy cedar and spice. The palate delivers flavours of dark cherries and mulberries with some supporting cedar and a dry earthy finish. Dry, slightly chalky tannins that give the wine an austere mouthfeel and lean finish. Aftertaste of dark mulberry, earthy cedar and spice.
