2011 Carrick Bannockburn Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a slight black tinge around the edges and dark red hue. The nose displays excellent intensity with powerful black cherry and anise top notes followed by some ripe dark plum with underlying subtle spicy toasted cedar and dried meats. Light to medium weight with plenty of richness the palate features flavours of black cherries, anise and dark plums over a meaty cedar and spice background. Dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, dried meats, anise and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
