Malbec is grown throughout Mendoza, with the Uco Valley in the south including the sub districts of Tupungato and La Consulta, two new hot spots for cooler climate Malbec. Bramare (brah-MAH-reh) is an Italian word meaning "to yearn for", and pays tribute to the heritage of the Marchiori family. Totally opaque inky black crimson colour with a dark crimson tinged hue. Perfumed aromas of liquorice and dark chocolate jump from the glass followed by cassis, vanillin oak and spice. Magnificent palate richness and concentration. Mouth filling flavours of liquorice over blackberry, dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak with some black pepper on the finish. Rounds off with velvety tannins and an exceptionally long aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberries, subtle dark chocolate, spicy vanillin oak and pepper. Super polished, with weight enough to captivate Shiraz drinkers.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc 14.8%
