2011 Black Cottage Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. Nosing reveals ripe dark cherry top notes followed by traces of anise, earth and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has generous dark cherry flavours followed by some ripe dark plum, anise and spice all wrapped up in a supple mouthfeel with velvety smooth tannins. Good depth. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, anise and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
