Matured for 18 months in oak. Deep dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays toasty oak top notes followed by some liquorice, dark plum and spice. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of liquorice and plum overlaid with some toasty vanillin oak and a touch of spice on the back palate. Soft fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, dark plum and toasty spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
