2011 Altos Las Hormigas Malbec

Opaque dark purple black colour with dark purple red hue. Dark cherry and liquorice aromas are overlaid by some toasty oak with some earthy spice end notes. Medium to full bodied with good richness the palate has flavours of black cherries, liquorice and toasty oak followed by some earthiness and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins, although solidly built. Long aftertaste of liquorice, black cherry, toasty oak and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
