Hen & Chicken' is a disorder that's been linked to mineral deficiency. In wine-growing parlance, a chicken is a small, stunted berry, while a hen is a normal berry, one that will grow to luscious maturity and provide a burst of full-flavoured juice when it's squeezed. Evidently, winemaker Larry Cherubino, has spent some time on the sorting table for this wine! Aged in a combination of new and two year old French oak for a period of 8 months with 80% malolactic fermentation.

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose displays lifted ripe white peach top notes followed by some cashew, nougat, light toast and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses a generous almost creamy like flavour profile of white peach, cashew, nougat and spice. Clean finish with long white peach, nougat and spicy cashew aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
