2010 Yeringberg Cabernets

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Opaque dark purple crimson red colour with dark purple red hue. The nose is quite refined with aromas of ripe mulberry and blackcurrant followed by some cedar, light cigar box and spice. Medium weight the palate marries intensity with elegance delivering flavours of ripe dark mulberry and blackcurrant with some underlying cedar, earthy tobacco and spice showing excellent richness. Velvet smooth tannins. Superb depth with very long blackcurrant, mulberry, cedary tobacco and spice aftertaste.
