2010 Woodstock Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple black hue. The nose shows more lift than when originally tasted several months ago with aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum followed by some confectionary. The palate delivers impressive weight, richness and textural qualities for its modest price. Mouthfilling flavours of blackberry, liquorice and confectionary with a spicy peppery back palate. Very fine grained, slightly dryish but perfectly balanced tannins. Excellent length with long blackberry, liquorice, spice and pepper aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years.
