2010 Wither Hills Pinot Noir

Semi translucent but showing good depth for Pinot Noir the wine has a deep dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Good perfumed lift with scents of violets, dark cherries, dark plum and a touch of anise with some spicy cedar end notes. Light to medium weight the palate boasts good generosity with flavours of dark cherries, plums and some anise with a spicy cedar back palate. Velvet smooth tannins and mouthfeel. Medium to long aftertaste of dark cherries, ripe plum and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
