2010 Wirra Wirra The Angelus Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in French oak barriques for 20 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with deep very dark red hue. Showing good perfumed lift, perfectly ripened blackcurrant aromas dominate the nose with some dark chocolate and dark plum also present followed by some cedar and spice. Impressive palate with mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant and dark mulberry followed by a touch of dark chocolate, cedar and spice. Velvet smooth beautifully integrated tannins. Long ripe blackcurrant, dark mulberry, cedar and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-8 years.
