2010 Wirra Wirra Original Blend Grenache Shiraz

A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Shiraz that was matured in three and four year old French oak puncheons. Near opaque deep crimson purple colour with dark purple hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of dark raspberry, spice, liquorice and plum. Medium weight the palate is quite plump and joosy with mouthfilling flavours of dark raspberry, ripe plum, vanillin confectionary and spice. Very fine grained soft tannins. Long spicy dark raspberry and ripe plum aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
