2010 Willoughby Park Kalgan Ironrock Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 12 months in French oak barriques. Opaque dark red black colour with very dark red hue. The nose offers up ripe blackcurrant top notes alongside some black olive followed by cedar, subtle earth and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of blackcurrant and dark mulberry followed by some earthy cedar and spice. Drying, slightly chewy tannins cut the finish a little short. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, earthy cedar and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
