2010 Warrabilla Reserve Durif

This Durif was matured for 10 months in 1 year old American oak puncheons. Totally opaque black purple colour with black purple hue delivering Warrabilla’s trademark super saturation of colour. The nose displays excellent intensity with aromas of ripe morello cherries, liquorice, dark chocolate and vanillin spice. Massively concentrated, dense and rich the palate delivers flavours of ripe black cherries, liquorice allsorts and dark chocolate followed by some vanillin oak and spice. Slightly firmish tannins but in perfect balance to the volumes of fruit. Long aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, dark chocolate and vanilla.
Cellar 5-6 years (2016-2017).
