2010 Villa Medoro Montepulciano D'Abruzzo

Opaque black dark purple colour with deep dark purple hue. On the nose fresh ripe dark cherry aromas are merged with some black plum and a hint of liquorice followed by some subtle earthy like end notes. Medium weight the palate has ripe dark cherry flavours alongside some dark plum and dark chocolate with a dry earthy finish. Fine grained soft tannins with aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, earth and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
