2010 Vigna Bottin Sangiovese

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Deep dark red black colour with dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe black cherries intermixed with some blackcurrant followed by some cedar and spice showing good intensity. Medium weight the palate is quite ripe with flavours of black cherries, some anise, toasty oak and spice but falls away a little on the finish. Soft velvet smooth tannins with aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, toasty anise and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
